ClipBank libraries currently hold about 250 clips for each of science, geography, history, design and technology and French, German, Spanish. The clips are from Channel 4's award winning schools programming for 11-14 year olds.

ClipBank is indexed by topic, type of clip and will also soon be indexed by the QCA's Schemes of Work. To get started, select Topics or type of clip from the left-hand menu in order to browse through the clips.

This installation of ClipBank gives you access to RealPlayer video clips. Each clip is accompanied by a description of its content, its learning context, links to other relevant clips, and a glossary.

ClipBank complements 4Learning's TV-ROMs, where clips on the TV-ROMs are fully integrated with students' notes, links to useful websites, lesson plans and differentiated interactive activities.

ClipBank is best accessed using Internet Explorer. Problems have been experienced with other types of browser. History, Science and Geography clips require you to have RealPlayer installed on your computer. If you have not got RealPlayer, you can download this free program here. Design and Technology, French German and Spanish require Windows Media Player to be installed. Click here to download if required.
