ClipBank geography is an easy-to-access, searchable library
of 250 high quality, digital television clips which bring to
life 26 key topics in geography for ages 11 and up.
ClipBank geography is indexed by topic, country and by the
QCA's Schemes of Work. To get started, select one of these
options from the left-hand menu to browse through the clips.
You have access to the clips in two different formats: high
quality, MPEG clips, ideal for use on a big screen or an
interactive whiteboard, and Real Player clips for multiple,
simultaneous use by a number of users. Each clip is
accompanied by a description of its content, its learning
context, links to other relevant clips, and a glossary of key
words.
Further functionality which is available as a download(s)
via the Internet includes: 1. Free text searching 2.
The ability to bookmark video clip selections ("playlists")
allowing you to navigate the same path of clips in future
lessons 3. A function which will allow you to screen grab
from any clip(s) for use in other applications
4. An easy
way to embed video clip(s) in your school's presentations.
ClipBank geography complements Channel 4 Learning's five
geography CD-ROMs, covering: Rivers: Landforms and Management;

Quarrying; Tourism: Comparative Case Studies; Farming: Factors
