These photos were made available through NAACE, and it with kind permission that we can present them to you in this format. The following conditions of use have been applied:

• These pictures can only be used for education purposes, they may not be used for any other purpose.
• This presentation of the pictures is only available for use in MEWAN schools.
• Copyright to all these pictures is retained by the Contributor (creditied within this resource).
• These pictures can only be reproduced for use in the classroom.
• These pictures can not be re-published or re-distributed in any other form, either electronically or in print, outside of your school without the permission of NAACE and the copyright holder. Users seeking rights to use must contact NAACE.
• MEWAN holds no responsibility for the accuracy of the picture title or keywords associated with the pictures.

Using this resource:

This resource has been presented in a simple format, open for interpretation in the classroom. We have not provided supported work programmes around the photos - we've left that to you, the professionals, to devise for your purposes. We hope that the implementation is simple and easy to handle for teachers, leaning assistants and pupils.

Screens and buttons:

Opening page - Continent Selector From this screen you can select which continental area you would like to browse. Each continental area has a number of countries listed.
Continent Map - Country Selector Point at any of the lighter green coloured countries and it's name appears. Clicking on one of these light green countries will take you to photos from that country. The small map of the world returns you to the Opening Page - Continent Selector The drop down menu allows you to jump between continents without returning to the Opening Page.
Country Photographs (View 1 - Photo only) Arrival at a country shows you the first photograph from our database form that country. Beneath the photograph is the title. This is also a drop down menu that allows you to select any photograph from that country to view in this screen. Forward and Back arrows allows you to view as per a slide show, taking you sequentially through our database (no specific order) The small map of the continent returns you to the Continent Map - Country Selector map. A drop down menu allows you to jump to available countries within this continental area.
Country Photographs (View 2 - Photo + Description) This view shows the photo title, keyword description and the contributor. All features fom view 1 are present in view 2
Country Photographs (View 3 - Thumbnails) Thumbnail view for all countries is also available. This allows a quick browse feature for all the photos listed. Opens the picture (alone) in a new window Opens the picture in View 1 Opens the pitcure in View 2
Switches current photo to View 1 (Photo only)	Switches current photo to View 2 (Photo + descriptions)	Switches to that country's View 3 (thumbnails) screen.
