This module has been designed to help staff gain a better understanding of the Manchester City Council Corporate Values and how these can be put into practice.
This module is designed to give you an insight into the purpose of local government, how it operates, who it involves and how it came about.
The aim of this e-learning module is to enable local authorities to comply with the FOI Act.
This is a blended learning programme on Equality and Diversity, which is being promoted to all staff across Manchester City Council and now within schools.

E-learning (electronic learning) is now being widely promoted by Manchester City Council as a means of making useful learning materials available to all staff using computers.
Who is it for?
The modules are for all support staff within schools and are ideally suited to new starters or staff who wish to understand the impact of equality and diversity or refresh their existing skills and knowledge.
Entry requirements
No formal requirements are needed but you will require the support of your line manager to apply.What will I achieve?
Following successful completion of any of the e-learning modules, staff will receive a certificate of completion that can be included within their portfolio.How to apply?
