Welcome to the Research and Statistics area of MEWAN. These pages aim to make information on school performance more available to schools, governors and School Improvement Partners (SIPs). Half Term 2 Absence graphs now available on the IDS
Half Term 2 absence graphs showing weekly trends, absence by reason, absence compared to other schools and Persistent Absence by pupil groups have now been added to the Intergrated Data Set.

Target Setting Forms for 2011 Target Setting Exercise

Timetable for Integrated Data Set (IDS) publication and updates:

Following the success and popularity of the IDS over the last year we have created a timetable showing when the IDS will be released and updated for this academic year. This also shows which data sets will be affected by the updates.

Please be aware: Several of these dates are subject to data being released by the DCSF, which has been delayed in previous years.

Launch of Integrated Data Set 2009

An Integrated Data Set (IDS) has been developed for use by schools, School Improvement Partners and School Effectiveness Officers to display information on attainment results, attendance levels, exclusion rates, financial information and Fischer Family Trust estimates.

To access your data click on School Data transfer, select your school, enter your T code and then click on File Transfer.

The data in the IDS will be updated regularly as data becomes available. A timetable of updates is available on the above link.

Fischer Family Trust Website Development

Fischer Family Trust have developed their FFTlive website to include pupil and school level estimates, as you would have accessed via your database or reports from the Research and Statistics team. The site went live on the 15th September.

A letter has been sent out to the head teacher of every schools with the username and password to access the site.

This site has been developed by the Research, Intelligence and Performance Analysis Team in Children's Services and we would welcome any feedback you have on the site.
