Interactive Whiteboard Site  
This area of MEWAN has been created to help schools develop the use and application of Interactive Whiteboards in the classroom.
Leading Aspect Award  
The Leading Aspect Award has been designed with, and by, educational practitioners as a means to recognise leading practice that exists in schools, families of schools, Higher and Further Education Institutions, Behaviour Support Services, Foster Care, Secure Accomodation, in fact anywhere where leading practice exists and which may or may not have been recognised.
Literacy and Geography  
Raising Attainment in Literacy through Geography in the School Grounds
A project to provide pupils with specific opportunities to undertake extended writing in literacy and/ or geography through practical experiences of using the school building and grounds. The project also encouraged schools to embed the healthy schools, eco schools and sustainable schools agendas in the curriculum. The outcomes of the project are presented here as a downloadable resource pack
Manchester Science and Storytelling Camp  
Manchester Science and Storytelling camp has been established to provide an opportunity for nominated Year 9 pupils from across the city to experience a week at Ghyll Head Outdoor Education Centre. The week allows pupils to learn skills in digital storytelling and plan, execute and film scientific experiments in the Lake District National Park.

My Manchester  
My Manchester ran successfully during 2005, encouraging local studies in Primary and Secondary schools. This site celebrates some of those projects and supports teachers thinking of running a My Manchester style curriculum project.
MyManchester Humanities Toolkit  
The Humanities Toolkit is a set of materials intended to generally promote an improved quality of teaching and learning in history and geography. It will assist coordinators and class teachers in the adapting of the curriculum to the needs and abilities of a particular set of pupils in a particular school.

Groundwork Manchester, Salford and Trafford in partnership with Manchester City Council and the Healthy Schools Partnership are delighted to launch our updated School Grounds Development Toolkit. The Toolkit is the ideal reference guide to support anyone trying to enhance children’s experience of their school grounds.
Their Past, Your Future  
Big Lotter Fund grant money allocated to Manchester LEA was used to support projects in 3 high schools which allowed pupils to explore the events of World War 2, meet veterans and develop a learning experience tied in with the 60th Anniversary of the end of the war.
